Poem - Corporate Betrayal

In shadows cast by corporate towers high,

Where whispers weave a tale of cold deceit,

The bloom of trust, once vibrant in the sky,

Now withers ’neath the weight of lies complete.

Beneath the guise of leadership’s embrace,

A dance of masks conceals a heart unkind,

As loyalty erodes without a trace,

Inhuman treatment leaves the soul maligned.

Betrayal’s ink stains pages once pristine,

The covenant of trust now torn and frayed,

With every callous move, a wound unseen,

In silent suffering, the heart dismayed.

Yet, in the struggle, seeds of strength arise,

As broken souls unite, reclaiming skies.
